To enable the Utilities to take advantage of the IRS tax credits available for refining coal we provide “Refined Coal Systems” to utilities already burning coal for power generation. These systems remove coal from the belt conveyors downstream of the crushing building and convey the coal thru a mixing process where we add both a dry and liquid additive to remove the NOx and Mercury from the coal ahead of placing the coal back onto (in most cases) redundant conveyors that carry the crushed coal to the boiler bunkers.
