CETC recently completed a plant upgrade to the refined coal process at this location. Existing equipment was removed and a “new” system incorporating the use of Pocket Belt conveying and horizontal mixer to process the coal for two (2) coal-fired units at this Generating Power Station. Removal of the existing equipment and installation of “new” equipment, including a new PLC processing control system was performed in record time by CETC’s installation crew allowing the utility to only be offline for a period of six (6) weeks.
