CETC was awarded the Feasibility study for an in-plant HBI/DRI Handling system to receive this material from the nearby Cliffs Mining HBI Plant in Toledo, Ohio via truck and/or rail. The system provided for both long and short-term storage and transfer to “Twin Station” EAF’s inside the Melt Shop. This study is to be followed up by a Detailed Engineering Design by CETC for this system in the 4th quarter of 2018.
